Frequently Asked Questions
When is the Faire? What are the hours?
The Redwood Mountain Faire will be on Saturday and Sunday, June 3 and 4, 2017 from 11:00am to 8:00pm. Gates open at 10:00am.
Can I bring my dog? Cat? Iguana?
As much as we love dogs, cats, and iguanas, no pets are allowed at Roaring Camp on the day of the Redwood Mountain Faire. In our effort to make this a family-friendly event and minimize the impact on the Roaring Camp grounds, all pets will have to remain home for the day. Thank you for understanding!
Am I allowed to bring food or beverages?
You may not bring coolers or any outside food or beverages to Roaring Camp on the day of the Redwood Mountain Faire. A wide variety of food and drinks will be available for purchase during the faire, including vegan and gluten-free options.
Where will I park?
There is plenty of on-site festival parking for $5 (with free shuttle) or at Roaring Camp for $8.
Is the event handicapped accessible?
Yes, Roaring Camp is handicapped accessible.
Will I be able to ride the train?
Yes, the trains at Roaring Camp will be running during the Faire. Please know that Faire admission does not include train access. You can purchase train tickets in advance online or the day of at the Faire, if space is still available.
How can I get involved?
We would love your support. You can get involved by volunteering, sponsoring the faire, or becoming a grant group. You can also apply to become an arts & crafts vendor or food & drink vendor at the faire.
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available online and will soon be available at select locations throughout the SLV.
What happens if it rains?
Our musicians and vendors are ready to throw the event rain or shine. So bring your umbrellas and rain gear and don’t forget your rain boots so you can dance and jump in all the puddles!
What should I bring?
We recommend you bring a low-back beach chair or a large blanket to sit on. Bring extra sunscreen and your biggest sunhat to protect yourself from the almost-summer sun!
No canopies, tents or pop-up shades are allowed. No coolers are allowed but you may bring an empty water bottle to stay hydrated. (The Faire provides free filtered water to refill your bottle.)
