Valley Women’s Club of San Lorenzo Valley is dedicated to community action, awareness and leadership in environmental, educational, social, and political concerns that affect the health and welfare of the San Lorenzo Valley and our community. Founded in 1978, the VWC created and produced the original Redwood Mountain Fine Arts & Crafts Faire and Music Festival for 18 years, and has brought it back to celebrate community, to showcase arts and music, and to raise funds for participating local non-profits and service organizations. The VWC operates the recycling centers in the SLV, works to protect and restore the watershed, provides support for education, women’s issues, and important community concerns including our local libraries, water supply and quality, local businesses and responsive local government. www.vwcweb.org
